Longfield 1838 Goulburn Wedding
Absolutely loved this one, started the day in Goulburn town centre with their ceremony at the church, followed by an afternoon tea and cutting of the cake and then we rolled around town getting some wonderful shots. One of the highlights was definitely meeting The Ayling’s of Mandelson’s who verrry kindly offered us to come in a make a few photos inside their historic home.
The weather on the day was a little overcast for the most part, but overcast skies are for sure fantastic for photos. The soft light suited the country setting perfectly, while the incredible florals added plenty of colour with rich reds, crisp whites, fresh greens and beautiful native flowers tying everything together.
Longfield 1838 is the best reception venue in Goulburn - Airlie and Alex are incredible and will look after you like family - so if you’re looking out that way it is a must for your shortlist. Super close to town for guest accommodation too.

They actually can be some of my favourite conditions to photograph in. Cloud cover acts like a giant softbox, creating really even light that's flattering for portraits and helps avoid harsh shadows or squinting in bright sun. While everyone hopes for blue skies, an overcast day often makes it much easier to create natural, timeless wedding photos.
